David Ball Productions was formed in 2003 and has rapidly developed into an innovative and exciting theatre producer. In 2008, David was the recipient of the Stage One / SOLT Apprentice Bursary and gained a much coveted internship working at both Sonia Friedman Productions and Act Productions Ltd. During this time, David worked as production assistant on the West End productions of La Cage Aux Folles, A View From The Bridge, Arcadia, Speaking In Tongues and Legally Blonde.
In 2010, David was the recipient of the Stage One/SOLT Bursary for New Producers and following this was made Associate Producer of Act Productions Ltd. Whilst at Act, David commissioned 3 new works: a new adaptation of Henry James' The Turn of the Screw by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, a dance adaptation of Peter and the Wolf to be choreographed by Adam Cooper and a new musical adaptation of Little Women.
In January 2012 David will depart from Act to focus on the production of his own work and the company will be offering independent General Management services.
